What is time-lapse recording?
Dash cam time-lapse recording, also known as time-lapse video, is a technique that compresses a longer recording into a shorter one, similar to the fast-forward function in movies. For dash cameras with time-lapse recording function, they record video at a rate of one frame per second during monitoring, and every 30 minutes of recording will be compressed into 1 minute for storage.
